Check out Julia WW Gilda at Wheeling Island on Monday Afternoon

You'll see an interesting setup in the 8th race at Wheeling Island this afternoon. If you take a look at the Stat Attack for this card, you'll see that the #1 runner, Julia WW Gilda is a good rail runner. But the #2, #3, #4 and #5 greyhounds all run midtrack or wide! If Julie WW Gilda can get any sort of early break, she should have a clear shot on the rail.

Not enough for you? Julia has good speed, as the third fastest greyhound in the field. And while it doesn't show on the standard program, this greyhound's Maiden win was a box-to-wire outing from this very same #1 post position.

And the icing on the cake is the Post Bias for this track. As we featured in our latest video, Profitable Greyhound Handicapping, Volume II, Wheeling has a strong box bias. In recent weeks, the #1 post position for 5/16ths Grade C races has been a winner 21.43% of the time. That's far about the 12.5% win average you would expect on an unbiased track.

If you check out the selections at the bottom of the program page, Julia WW Gilda isn't mentioned at all in the top four. Maybe you'll get decent odds here, although most track regulars know about the box bias and will give ANY greyhound in the #1 box some attention.

Check it out yourself! And have some fun at the track today.
